Presented by the Animal Mission and hosted on Devine Street, the Palmetto Peanut Boil (now in its 17th year) has grown from a small backyard affair to an annual outdoor festival drawing thousands of attendees from across the Midlands.

Highlighting the best of the best cooks and recipes in SC, the competition features teams vying for the honor of the championship trophy and bragging rights for another year.

And along with the competition, the Palmetto Peanut Boil also offers live music, food, and kids’ entertainment. Leashed pets are welcome!
